Innovator - Conceived and launched a new “Marketing Store” business model. The retail-based Ad Agency generated $1.9M in sales with average yearly revenue growth of 58% over eight years. Corporate & Event Sponsorships - Successfully negotiated and sold corporate, media, and trade sponsorships with Anheuser-Busch, 7-Up, General Motors, Speedway-Gastown, BP, AGA Gas, Goodyear and Pioneer Electronics.
Large Scale Event Management - Coordinated staff and volunteer activities, allocating a wide range of resources to stage concurrent IndyCar and NASCAR race events in three different track locations. Managed 200+ event staff and volunteers during these three-day race weekends.
Growth Strategies - Raised the Cleveland 500 Foundation’s annual charitable contributions from $10,000 to $121,000 during my six-year executive tenure with the race-related civic foundation.
Fundraising Events - Managed sales, marketing, and event planning for The Grand Prix Charity Pro-Am celebrity golf tournament; included 15 IndyCar™ drivers and 15 PGA Tour™ golfers grouped in fundraising foursomes. Each year led five marketing and special-event fundraising initiatives.
